New Student Orientation Days and “Welcome Weekend” are part of the orientation process at Edinboro University and are designed to help you transition into college life.

Orientation is a two-part program. To ensure success, all students are required to attend their assigned New Student Orientation Day and take part in all activities during Welcome Weekend.

          Your New Student Orientation Day

Your NSO Day has been specially arranged for you.  Watch your student email account for a specific invitation to your day.  We are looking forward to seeing you on campus soon!

          Welcome Weekend

This fall Welcome Weekend is jam-packed with fun activities to acquaint you to University life. A student convocation, a picnic, speakers, plenty of social activities and everyone's favorite—Boro Block Party! Boro Block Party is always scheduled on the Saturday of Welcome Weekend. Help yourself to delicious food while a DJ plays all your favorite tunes. Bring your dancing shoes and prepare to make new friends!

Watch your email account for specific dates and activities – including Friday arrival times and where to go and what to do when you first arrive on campus that Friday. Plan to arrive early enough to be ready to participate in afternoon activities. As always, commuter students are encouraged to join in!
